I’m an actor and writer living in Los Angeles. I write not-so-serious things like this and not-so-trivial things like this, but I most enjoy things that live in-between, like this. I make things about being a woman, work, relationships, and being a woman whose relationships feel like work.
My essays and profiles have appeared on Elle.com, Investor’s Business Daily, Human Parts and the Liberty Project. Favorite acting projects include the HBO mini series Empire Falls and the independent film Filmic Achievement. I've also appeared on The Mentalist, The Bold and the Beautiful and in theaters in NYC, LA and throughout the country, including ACT and Shakespeare Sedona.
I combined both loves when I co-founded the acting blog Brains of Minerva, about which Backstage said, "the spirit of helping others to find grace in a pressure-filled business is everywhere on the website." I also spent a wonderful year as a filmmaker-in residence throughout the LAUSD, helping students make movies about their lives.
I grew up in Florida, am an alumna of the MFA Program at American Conservatory Theater and Joan Scheckel Filmmaking Labs, and somewhere along the way became a crazy dog-mom.
